Compliance Status on Directives 2011/65/EU
Growing market demands and legal requirements impose more and more stringent requirements on the materials and functions of products for the telecommunications industry. The desire for lead-free electronics is a current issue. FOCI Fiber Optic Communications, Inc. is continually committed to be in Compliance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
FOCI Fiber Optic Communications, Inc. (FOCI) has been pursuing compliance with European Union requirements –Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the council of 8 June 2011 on the restrictions of the use of the certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS)

Note 2: Applications of hazardous substances are exempted from the requirements of the following Article:
Lead as an alloying element in steel containing up to 0.35% lead by weight, aluminum containing up to 0.4% lead by weight and as a copper alloy containing up to 4% lead by weight.
